The Upcoming tab (bottom left, calendar icon) is your home screen β it shows all scheduled maintenance tasks.
Tasks are grouped by month so you can see your full year of maintenance at a glance.
Any task past its due date appears at the top in the red Overdue section.
Tap Done on a card to mark a task as completed β it will be removed from the schedule.
Tap Reschedule to pick a new date without losing the task from your plan.
π‘ Tip: Recurring tasks (Weekly, Monthly, etc.) are auto-rescheduled every morning β you'll always see the next upcoming date without any manual effort.

Tap the Log tab (bottom center, the + icon) to open the task form.
Fill in What was done β e.g. "Changed AC filter", "Fixed leaky faucet".
Set the Date β it defaults to today, but you can change it.
Optionally add Category (Plumbing, Electrical, etc.), Cost, Provider, and Notes.
Tap Save Task and you're done. The task is saved to your history instantly.
π‘ Tip: Use categories consistently so your Records view stays organized and easy to filter.

While logging a task, toggle on Add Maintenance Plan.
Set a Next Service Date β when this task should happen again.
Choose a Frequency β Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually, etc.
Save the task. It will now appear on your Upcoming page and HouseKeep will remind you via email and SMS on the due date.
Recurring tasks are automatically rescheduled to the next date β no manual updates needed.
π‘ Tip: Great for recurring tasks like AC filter changes (monthly), pool chlorine (weekly), pest control (quarterly), or roof inspection (annually).

Tap the Records tab (bottom center-right) to see your full maintenance history.
Use the search bar to find tasks by name, provider, or category.
Use the filter chips to narrow down by category.
Toggle Spreadsheet View for a compact table layout β great for reviewing costs.
π‘ Tip: The spreadsheet view shows totals so you can see how much you've spent per category.

In the Records tab, find the task you want to edit.
Tap the pencil icon (βοΈ) on the task card.
The card expands into an editable form β update any field.
Tap Update Task to save your changes.
Tap Cancel to discard changes and close the editor.
π‘ Tip: If you update the Next Service Date on a plan, the reminder resets automatically so you won't get notified early.

Tap the Settings tab (bottom right, gear icon).
Scroll to the SMS Reminders section.
Enter your phone number with country code β e.g. +17865550123 for US.
Tap Save to store your number.
Toggle on Send me SMS reminders to activate.
π‘ Tip: You'll only get one SMS per task per due date β no spam, ever. Email reminders are sent automatically to all users regardless of SMS settings.

Tap the Settings tab.
Find the Language row and tap the πΊπΈ EN / πͺπΈ ES button to toggle.
The entire app switches instantly β no reload needed.
π‘ Tip: Your language preference is saved on your device and remembered next time you open the app.

Go to the Records tab.
Tap Export CSV at the top right.
A CSV file with your full history downloads to your device.
π‘ Tip: Keep a copy when selling your home β buyers love a documented maintenance history!
