By accessing or using HouseKeep (the "App"), available at housekeepcalm.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HouseKeep. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
HouseKeep is a home maintenance tracking application that allows users to log maintenance tasks, schedule recurring maintenance plans, and receive reminders via email and SMS text message.
The App is provided as a web-based application accessible through browsers and installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on mobile devices.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when setting up your account, including any phone number used for SMS notifications. You are responsible for ensuring you have authorization to use any phone number you provide.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
• Use the App to store false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to access, view, or modify another user's data without authorization
• Use the App to send unsolicited messages or spam
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, infrastructure, or functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
By creating an account, you consent to receiving maintenance reminder emails at the address associated with your account. Email reminders are sent automatically when tasks are due.
SMS text reminders are optional and require explicit opt-in through the App's Settings page. If you opt in to SMS, you acknowledge that message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. You may opt out at any time by disabling SMS in Settings or by replying STOP to any message.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue notification services at any time without prior notice.
You retain ownership of all maintenance task data, notes, and other content you create in the App ('User Content'). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the App and providing its features.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not review, moderate, or verify the accuracy of User Content.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and is available within the App under Settings.
The App, including its design, branding, logos, text, and software, is the property of HouseKeep and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.
HouseKeep, the HouseKeep logo, and "housekeepcalm.app" are trademarks of HouseKeep. All other trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time.
You are responsible for performing your own maintenance tasks. The App is a tool for tracking and reminders only and does not constitute professional maintenance advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HouseKeep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us for the use of the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your personal information and associated data will be removed within a reasonable timeframe.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Broward County, Florida.
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and request account deletion.
